Yesterday Geoff and I got chance to look round inside the Library of Birmingham site. Our photos will be posted later when we have had chance to look through them. However the icing on the cake was meeting James Brown (“operator” of Tower Crane 2 and a keen photographer) who kindly sent me three of his photos from the top of one of the cranes, and gave me permission to use them in the blog!
Apparently it takes about 15 minutes to climb the crane ladders to get this high….and about the same to get back down again!
