Yay! I’m really excited about the library. I know a lot of people are a bit sad about losing the old building (not exactly sure why) but I have a feeling that this will attract visitors to Birmingham and help shape an image of the city as a cultural destination.
I’m originally from the city and I still visit quite a lot, normally staying in the serviced apartments Birmingham has to offer and normally in the city centre. I try and show my kids that despite the reputation Birmingham has, there’s actually a lot going on!
