The Equality Delivery System (EDS) is an outcome based framework that aims to improve the quality, experience and access to NHS services supported with evidence for those that are included in ‘protected groups’ as laid down in the Equality Act 2010. Its objective is to deliver services that are fair, personal and diverse to promote continuous improvement.

The EDS requires NHS Organisations in collaboration with local interests to analyse and grade their performance, and set defined equality objectives, supported by an action plan.

Performance against the selected objectives will be annually reviewed and these processes will be integrated within mainstream business planning.

It is FREE to attend!

There will be speakers from the Department of Health planning team, the SHA and the PCT.
