City Centre Partnership – What is it?

CityCentrtePartnership logoCity Centre Partnership is a Public/Private  Partnership that manages the Birmingham City Centre and is part of Birmingham Council.

It organises Events, Street Wardens, Street Cleaning, BIDs*,the Heart of England in Bloom Competition, etc.

Representatives from all City Centre major organisations are members including Police, Councillors, City Centre businesses including Retail, and Residents. The Birmingham City Centre Neighbourhood Forum, which organises this web site, is also represented. The

*BIDs – these are Business Improvement Districts which are defined by geographical areas of the City Centre.  The businesses in these areas have voted to invest together in local projects and services to enhance their trading performance and environment. Examples are Broad Street Partnership Limited, Colmore Business Development, Retail Birmingham, Colmore Business District (CBD), and Southside Business District.
