Zombi Walk for Childrens’ Hospital

Hundreds gathered in City Park at the rear of the new Library of Birmingham today to get transformed by face paint into Zombies.

The official website states  the purpose “The idea of the Zombie Walk is for everyone to get dressed up as a Zombie, have fun and meet new people, all whilst raising money for the fantastic charity, Birmingham Children’s Hospital. It’s an annual event, which has taken place since 2009 in the City of Birmingham and has raised over £3,330.”

After the park meeting there was a march round the city centre.

The atmosphere in the park was electric with the youth of Birmingham coming together for a great social and charity event.

Below are some photos of the assembly in City Park.
