The Friends of the Library of Birmingham (LoB) are holding a rally this Saturday, 7 February, over the proposed cuts in operational budget for the library.
This will be held outside the library in Centenary Square between 12 noon and 2pm. There will be speeches from historian Prof Carl Chinn, photographer Vanley Burke, and crime writer Judith Cutler. Also there will be contributions from Birmingham’s Poet Laureates past and present together with music and story-telling.
Whether you are a fan of the LoB or not this event should be full of information and atmosphere.
If anyone knows of an organised event with opposite outlook about the LoB please contact us with the details.
