Famous Fiddle and Bone Pub Re-Opens Its Doors

OD4A8996For 12 years the Fiddle and Bone closed its doors to the public. But now it has been restored and provides canal facilities, a pub and restaurant.

The pub offers something  very different for city residents and a truly canal side pub for the many canal boaters who visit the “city of canals”.

A grade 2 listed building dating back to the 1880’s, it is situated in Sheepcote Street and lies alongside the BCN Mainline canal near Brindleyplace

The proprietors, Sherborne Wharf Ltd, enabled guests to sample the hostelry today in preparation for the opening at 1 pm tomorrow,  Sunday 1 March.

Below are some photos of the event which show what a super job has been made of the restoration.
