Opening of Snow Hill to Grand Central in Stevenson Street
The first testing of the tram last Saturday night was deemed successful and over the next couple of weeks you will see trams being tested in Corporation Street. This testing and driver training will precede the commencement of the tram passenger service running from Grand Central all the way to Wolverhampton St Georges. It is anticipated that this will launch on Sunday 22nd May.
Changes to Access to Corporation Street and Surrounding Streets
Commencing on Monday 2nd May, access for vehicles and cycles to this area will change.

Public Consultation on Eastside Extension
The final consultation will take place in May on the proposed Metro extension from Bull Street to Eastside and Digbeth linking all central rail stations, the Coach Station in Digbeth and the future HS2 Terminus.
The Public’s opinions on alternate routes was sought in 2014 and an overwhelming preference was uncovered.
The route and features have now been refined and you can find out all about the extension project at public exhibitions in a number oft locations and taking place on 6 occasions from 5th to 21st May.
Your thoughts on supporting the extension are now requested.
