Paradise Circus closes for a year from Monday 3 September until summer 2019. This means the road running alongside the Copthorne hotel will close to all traffic.
Centenary Square will close to vehicles from Monday 3 September but will remain open to public transport until mid-September.
A very useful interactive map has been created by the MMA to guide you around this closure no matter what your means of travel.
Motoring, walking and bus travel* between the north and south of the city centre will involve finding new routes.
However, the map can help enormously to plan your new routes.
Using the map is easy once you figure out how to scroll through the text to the left of the Town Hall image. Relevant maps are then displayed alongside the displayed text.

* Bus travel changes are planned to take place from mid September and the map will then be updated for the rerouting along Sheepcote Street or Bath Row instead of the current use of Broad Street.
