This barrier will have to be removed on Monday 4th Apri to enable testing of the extension upto 54 Hagley road to commence.
Midland Metro Alliance has issued the notice below about the test running of the trams.

Broad Street, the Five Ways Underpass, and Hagley Road up to the terminus of the tram at number 54, have had the tram infrastructure (track) completed forsome time now!
But some finishing touches to pavements, especially around the tram stop shelters and surrounding roads, have remained undone for months.
Live running of the trams will be dependent on having a fleet of trams sufficient in numbers to perform to the timetables. Hence, it seems likely to be affected by the current ongoing repair of the panel cracks in some of the fleet.
They are currently being repaired by the manufacturer.
I’ll only believe it when I see it. Any way, are there any roadworthy trams?
