UK’s Biggest Road Upgrade Reaches Half-way Point
A £1.5 billion project that will transform journeys on one of the east of England’s most vital roads reaches its half-way point this week.
The fully upgraded A14 is due to be opened to traffic by December 2020.
If you’ve recently travelled to the East of England you will have encountered this amazing project and its impact on current journeying.

Broad Street Bypass Route – Sheepcote Street – To be Curbed
Sheepcote Street is a problem route at the moment as car drivers to/from the West have been deprived of Broad Street to get to/from the city.
Soon the recent creation of a southbound bus lane will be enforced and force drivers to divert around the ring road. Continue reading

Good News – Grosvenor St. West is to Have 2-way Traffic
There have been two Be Heard consultations on the changes to Sheepcote Street and adjacent streets. In a week it will no longer be possible to enter the street from St Vincent Street. This means a detour to reach the Broad Street end of the street and hence get to Local Residents’ car parks. Continue reading
